For grand seaside days out in Norfolk, Cromer's about as traditional as they come. Here's what we made of the beach, Lifeboat Station and Victorian Pier.

Although there has been a settlement at Cromer for the best part of a thousand years, it only became a resort in Victorian times with the arrival of the railways. The town is centred around the 14th century church of SS Peter and Paul. This was substantially rebuilt in the 19th century after it fell into disrepair. Not sure if you get Deck Chairs on Cromer beach but I thought they looked good in front of the pier! I have only seen the fishing boats, tractors, fishing nets and seagulls.
