The bowl was formed from a slab of stoneware clay. ♥ Feedback: This platter is stunning! Thank you! ♥ I first painted the bowl with dark brown –almost black – glaze, and brushed spirals with wax on top, to create raised decorative brush strokes. Later painted with the vivid turquoise glaze so that the dark raised spirals would peek through.
