Vision 2050 is WBCSD's report for a new agenda featuring a set of agreed must-haves for a world in which 9 billion people can live well, and within the planet's resources. The report is a consensus piece that was compiled by 29 leading global companies to help ensure a steady course towards global sustainability. Ultimately, the report is intended to provide a springboard for dialogue and debate.
Action 2020 takes Vision 2050 one step further, as a developing framework for action to deliver tangible outcomes by rallying the efforts of businesses to deliver on the economic, environmental and social promises made in Vision 2050. Action 2020 is one of the WBCSD Council's flagship projects to move from developing thought leadership to driving action.
