Le Marais District (The Marsh), Paris, 3rd Arrondissement, directly north of Ile de la Cite where Notre Dame is located. The streets are small so you can walk down them without really encountering traffic.    We stayed on Rue De Bretagne next to the Enfant Rouge outdoor market and loved it!

The dark grey tones of this space perfectly set off the floral arrangements out the front. The high-arch windows also add to the dramatic effect.
