How To Clean Your A/C Condensate Drain Line | A+ Air Conditioning
** If your A/C condensate drain line becomes clogged with mold, algae, mildew, bacteria or fungi, condensation can overflow & cause all manner of water damage.** Turn off the air conditioner & locate the condensate drain line. Identify the access point on the drain line. Flush with ¼ cup distilled white vinegar; or you can also use peroxide, or hot water with a dash of dish soap. Let the solution sit for 30 minutes, then flush the pipe out with water to ensure everything is flowing freely & operating as it should. Repeat this every month to kill any harmful bacteria or buildup & make sure the system continues to operate at peak performance.
