Plant Daddy Brian here from Blossom and today, we're gonna learn how to make your own do-it-yourself pond. It's composed of three main ingredients. The first is pumice, lava rocks, and zeolite. Just like lecca, these three minerals are porous and water can transfer via capillary action. Before you use these substrates, make sure to wash them thoroughly. There's a lot of stuff that builds up that you don't want in your reservoir. Check that out. That's what I'm talking about and now, we'll send combine all three ingredients roughly equal parts. Additional benefits of pond is that it can PH balance and soften the water. Now, I'm gonna transfer my epiprem albo from lecture to pond. Just like lecca, we'll fill about a third of the container with pond, add our plant, and then top it off with more pond. Add some nutrient water and we're done.
