Cardboard Chairs For Kids Are Durable And Sustainable [Pics]
Industrial Design students from the Rhode Island School of Design were recently tasked with creating a child’s chair from cardboard in one week. For the project, teams of three had to brainstorm, prototype and finish a chair cut from a piece of 48″x80″ cardboard that was able to support at least 55lbs.
Carl Liu: Taiji Chopsticks. The concept of yin yang, is used to describe how polar opposites or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent. Opposites only exist in relation to each other. Yin yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole as part of a dynamic system. Taiji Chopsticks are two identical chopsticks representing yin and yang. The spiral design on the top enable two chopsticks to intersect each other and form dynamic balance and endless energy.
