A book walk! I love this activity for so many reasons. 1) It is great for those who learn best through movement and touch. 2) It gets kids outside. 3) It uses realia to teach vocabulary. Fun fun fun! I must do this with my ESOL class at least once this year!

Stick ABC order. Draw 10 sticks from the can/bucket. Write in ABC order. Simple!

ABC Order Lesson~ Try word stick centers. Write groups of words on Popsicle sticks, place each set of sticks in a separate container, and then have students sort words before writing them in the correct order. Use with word wall or sight words.

Story re telling rope. Such a great idea to prompt students to look for characters setting etc when re telling stories.

Retelling Stories using the Retelling Rope; give Ss a recording sheet with matching images and have them write sentences/draw pictures for each story element

Fun activity for last week of school
