I’ve admired Eowyn since the very first time I saw the films. She’s a strong character—she was never content sitting back and fulfilling her “role” as a woman, and her insistence on being included in battle led to the slaying of the Witch King, a task achievable by no man. Even having her heart broken didn’t get her down; if anything it made her more determined to prove her worth
