The "bridge of death". In the night of 26. April 1986 when reactor 4 exploded, the residents of pripyat heard the explosion and wanted to know what was going on, so they went to this bridge, where they could have a good look at the reactor. Some say, it was the most beautiful thing they have ever seen in their life. Unfortunately the wind was blowing towards them, carrying heavy dose of radioactivity with it. Almost everybody who stood on the bridge, died within the next two days.
