On this board I share my paintings. Many of them are for sale. I have several different topics because I have a lot of inspiration and ideas to work with. Also I make paintings that are work of commission.
"Viking". 230$. The metallic looking helmet is painted with very hard looking brush strokes. It is not a perfect and smooth looking painting. It is ment to give a feeling of the hard core and worn exterior of the viking.
This is a painting of an old Norwegian whaling ship. It gives a feeling of nostalgia and amazement of how it could have been working in the cold arctic ocean. It is inspirational to see a painting like this because it exist very few photographs or paintings of this type of ship.
210$ "Model 2". This is a painting of a model. The work of this painting is done with hard looking brush strokes that gives a unique style. It has a vulgar motive that can give some challenge. The absent of the smooth looking skin that is more common in this sort of painting gives this work a more original expression.
210$ "Model 1". This is a painting of a model. It is painted as a flirting motive. The style of the painting is unique in a way that the model is painted with very hard looking brush strokes. There has been no effort to smooth things out. That gives a original and unique look.
330$ "Roman centurion". Original oil-painting. A unique work of art. This painting is a picture of a worn Roman centurion. On the gray background the colours of gold and red symbolises triumph in battle and more power to the Empire.
"Row-boat". Original oil-painting by the artist Sindre Ekrheim Mosand. This is a painting of a boat that has the same construction as the viking ships had. In a way it gives a feeling of sentimentality and wondering of history that has disappeared. The row-boat is of a kind people in Norway used to fish for a living 100 years ago.
"In search for a lost time". 700$ Original oil-painting by Sindre Ekrheim Mosand. This painting gives a feeling of historical breath and sentimentality. This viking ship is sailing into the fog at sea and it symbolises an era or age that has vanished. The lights on board the ship is all the knowledge about this great vessels and now all that has gone. Impossible to recreate.
