Warm spring days = green smoothie time! I like making mine into mini-meals. How?  I mostly base my smoothies on banana and/or some other bulky/'bland' fruit like pear plus lemon and if needed, a few dates to sweeten.  To make it more like a meal I add some plant fats: a handful of nuts, some avocado or a spoon of flax oil – this makes the energy of the smoothie last longer in my body.  I also add some type of vegetable: any greens – kale, parsley, spinach etc – or fennel, celery, cucumber…

Smoothie or lily pond? You decide .. But there's a lot of magic happening in the garden right now✨ I've just started a little celebration for my #ShisoDelicious40K- details a couple of posts back!  Matcha & young coconut smoothie with wood sorrel flowers.
