Smoothie or lily pond? You decide .. But there's a lot of magic happening in the garden right now✨ I've just started a little celebration for my #ShisoDelicious40K- details a couple of posts back! Warm spring days = green smoothie time! I like making mine into mini-meals. How?  I mostly base my smoothies on banana and/or some other bulky/'bland' fruit like pear plus lemon and if needed, a few dates to sweeten.  To make it more like a meal I add some plant fats: a handful of nuts, some avocado or a spoon of flax oil – this makes the energy of the smoothie last longer in my body.  I also add some type of vegetable: any greens – kale, parsley, spinach etc – or fennel, celery, cucumber…

The Caipirinha...My favorite cocktail.  This is how I make it:  1 whole lime cut into eight pieces  Muddle lime with 1 Tbsp. sugar and 1 Tbsp. brown sugar.  Top highball glass with crushed ice.  Pour Leblon Cachaca Rum up close to the rim.  Shake and then enjoy...Ahhhh!  I also add blueberries or strawberries to it for a summery boost.  Fresh ginger in it for a Fall boost.

Overnight oats with chia, flax seed, cardamon and mixed berries (frozen, and stirred into the oats last night along with the seeds and plain water), cashew cream (cashews soaked overnight and blended with a couple of dates + vanilla in the morning), violets and forget me nots from the garden.
