8th Grade textile -- each child made two fabric collage leaves and stitched their initials onto the tree trunk. Leaves were attached with fabric glue. This could easily be adapted to be done as a paper collage. But, I have to say, as nervous as the kids were to do a little stitching, they ended up really loving it- especially the boys! The quote at the bottom reflects on the kids moving towards high school -- "Faith tells us that no matter what lies ahead, God is already there."
