Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank.... June 12 1929 – early March 1945) is one of the most well-known Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Acknowledged for the quality of her writing, her diary has become one of the world's most widely read books.

I think it is really great that we have Anne Frank memorials today. These memorials remind us of how many innocent lives where taken during the Holocaust. It is quite sad to think of what a terrific person Anne could have grown up to be.
