Making baklawa sounds intimidating but they are so easy to make. I made them with pistachios, but you can make them with walnuts. Side note if you can’t find the pistachio cream you can just use the crushed pistachios it will still taste amazing. I got pistachio cream from Costco. Ingredients -1 package of phyllo dough #4 -4 sticks of unsalted butter (melted) -2 cups of unsalted pistachios (crushed) -1 cup of pistachio cream : Oven temperature 350° bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden. : ——simple syrup—— -3 cups sugar -2 cups water -1 teaspoon lemon juice ——boil for 12 minutes Credit: @eman_inthekitchen
