A variation in the White tiger Bengal strain are unusually light orange tigers called Golden Tabby Tiger, or Strawberry Tiger. It is believed they carry the stripeless white gene as recessive. There are fewer than 30 of these tigers in the world. The first cub born in captivity was in 1983 in Florida from 2 standard colored Bengas who carried the recessive genes for golden and white colors. lt.
