Vintage 1940s Wooden Ice Bucket / Storage Jar Bakelite Handle

This little storage jar probably started life as an ice bucket or biscuit barrel. Originally it would have had a liner but that has long gone. It still makes a lovely retro item for storing keys or bits and bobs. The wood is lovely and still has a lot of figuring. The handle for the lid is made of bakelite.
