Here we have all the kings and queens of England in cross stitch format! I have updated this listing to include Charles III Also including a couple who are a bit less Kingy than others. Sweyn Forkbeard? Henry the Young King? Lady Jane Grey? These are monarchs who didn't quite make the grade, who are great big "what could have been"s and who's lives ended rather sooner than they would have liked! Each monarch's outfit is inspired by the English monarchs heritage playing cards. Difficulty wise, this is a BIG pattern. Really big. Its about 12x50 inches and that's without incorporating any of the extra you'd need to frame it (at least another 2 inches either side). But the pattern itself isn't hard. I usually design for use on evenweave, you can use aida (which i know would be easier) but you will have to pierce the fabric for the dates. Use a dark cream, light brown colour for preference.
