Anne and Mille 1905

Anne Ugland was born in Norway in 1884. Here she is photographed with her sisters daughter on her back, Mille Fløystad. The photo was taken some time during the early 1900s, ca. 1905. Anne studied stenography for a while but as far as we can tell she never worked with her skills. She never married and took care of her widowed father in his later years.
