The product is placed in a disposable plastic container. It has a paper wrapped around the container which displayed the product information and cooking instruction. The product is to be kept frozen below -18°C. The product is not meant to be thawed. Consumers have to cut the otak-otak into 4 pieces and after the water boiled, steam for 15 minutes. Repeated thawing and re-freeze may affect the quality of the otak-otak.
