An extraordinary piece hand made in the mid 1700's, all hand carved and hand joined. Features a simple four leg design where two legs are fixed and the other two swing to each support one of the drop leaves. See the gate mechanism in the pictures. The legs are finely carved cabriole ending in pad feet. Beautiful oval top of three boards of Honduran mahogany.
