Xitang (UNESCO World Heritage) is in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province_ East China. Xitang is known for its 104 bridges of varied structure, all from de Ming n Qing Dynasties. Shops n houses in Xitang r built on riversides.
This landscapes and many buildings in the Summer Palace were arranged according to traditional principles of Chinese garden design. It has an overall sense of harmony, with the many different elements of water, hills, trees, temples, walkways and palace buildings to create an impression of completeness. The palace served as a mark of the wealth and taste of the Manchu rulers.
