Mapping 2013

Self portrait ideas Mapping 2013 on Behance Use a process like this for "identity/self-concept" activity about skin color/shade/tone/palette. Put vertical photo strip of every child together on a couple images to make a collective face.

Ooooh, the soft, gaussy, acrylic paintings of the Miaz Brothers. Yes. Acrylic paintings – not blurry photographs {although, I do enjoy the occasional blurry photo!}. I’m not quite sure how they do it, but Milan-born artists {and brothers} Roberto and Renato Miaz are clearly masters of the brush! Ahh, so very dreamy.

Shatter

LINE Antonio Mora The jagged, fractured lines that are over the image create a sense of disarray and lack of order. The photo clearly represents a break in a relationship (of some sort). Through the use of line, the image feels broken also.

Computer Arts Branding Perhaps I could look at the impact of geometric shapes on the profile of a person. The large version of the eye changes the overall perception of the person which we have. Although he is in formal attire, I automatically felt that the eye evoked a sense of fear. It appears angry although nothing else has been changed, except the segment has been cropped and repositioned on his face

- Media idea - Fragments - I could take multiple photos, reassemble them and then draw/paint/other mixed media in the shapes - portraits + people
