A Los Angeles man named Hector Siliezar snapped a strange photo while on vacation at the site of the ancient Mayan city Chichen Itza in 2009. Saliezar captured the pyramid El Castillo just as a bolt of lightning struck, and the resulting image appears to show a strong beam of light emanating directly from the top of the pyramid.

The largest of the artifacts found at La Maná, Ecuador, is a torso-sized engraved granite boulder with mortar-filled engraved lines and inset polished stones. The engraved contours are both shockingly familiar and strange, representing the continents of the world in what must be the oldest map known to humanity, a global rendering from the Pleistocene.

These discoveries are thought to be more than 3,000 years old. The photo taken by a Kurdish fighter shows a round tunnel cut through solid rock thousands of years ago on a step mountain path.

Half billion year old hammer embedded in rock that formed 400 MILLION years ago ~ Archaeologists analysed and dated it. The rock encasing the hammer was dated to more than 400 million years old. The hammer itself turned out to be more than 500 million years old. A section of the wooden handle had begun the metamorphosis into coal. (at least 5 other artifacts and the story of their discovery are listed on the linked page)...
