When autocomplete results are available use up and down arrows to review and enter to select. Touch device users, explore by touch or with swipe gestures.
I like this Idea because feet are more sensitive then hands so this would be a good way for a student to feel a variety of textures. I would also would do a square with river rocks and one with moss. This would be touch as well.
