Gertrud Arndt was a photographer associated with the Bauhaus movement, remembered for her pioneering series of self-portraits from around 1930 This is textile sample from Bauhaus weaving workshop, 1925. Because of prejudice against women, she wasn't allow to attend classes in architecture but instead was dispatched to the weaving workshop.
