Now that summer is in full bloom with Summer Solstice, we’re taking in it’s warmth by making some fun yarn weavings in the shape of a sun. The sun is shining, even here in Seattle, so that is cause for celebration with this hot.
The No-Knit Trick: Loom Weaving To make a cardboard loom, take a piece of rectangular cardboard and fold the shorter ends back inch. Cut evenly spaced vertical slits into the folded ends, leaving inch between each slit.
Thema Kunst: Most projects like this use glue to hold the yarn. You have to let the glue dry before you can start coloring. This project starts with notched cardboard, so you can start coloring the foil immediately.
