The soldier and the nurse from the D-Day kiss picture in Times Square

This picture of the older man and woman is reputed to be the actual sailor and the nurse from the famous "kiss" picture in Times Square celebrating the end of WWII. She reportedly slapped him after he stole that famous kiss from her.

VE Day

This is one of the most famous photographs from the Second World War. Apparently the nurse slapped the soldier immediately after. The event was the celebration of the end of the war and it was taken in Times Square by Alfred Eisenstaedt. New York 1945

It wuld be awesome to recreate this for engagement photos!
