Falkland Palace in Falkland, Fife, Scotland, is a former royal palace of the Scottish Kings. Today it is in the care of the National Trust for Scotland, and serves as a tourist attraction. A favourite place of Mary Queen of Scots.
This is Crovie (pronounced Crivie) on the Moray Coast of Scotland. It's far more beautiful than it's more famous neighbouring town Pennan (from Local Hero). When the sea is rough it takes a hell of a battering from the waves.
