FEBRIK is a new Dutch brand of interior textiles founded by Renee Merckx and Jos Pelders. Beginning life as Innofa with a collection of knits, the ambition of FEBRIK is to show the world a next generation of textiles by re-exploring existing techniques.

Tokyo is an upholstery fabric designed by Helene Vonsild. It has a simple, dusty expression and features a tactile wavelike structure. This is inspired by the grooves made with rakes in gravel at Japanese temples. Helene Vonsild: ‘When designing Tokyo I sketched every single line by hand. I included one little variation on every line to add vibrancy to the gap between the ‘waves’. Repetition amplifies this and gives the textile a vivid structure with a diverse surface’.
