A kid could get lost in the story the viewfinder slides tell. There were no sounds but I often could picture how it was and how it would feel like going with my favorite cartoons on an adventure. The Viewmaster

Scorching hot metal slides. Can still feel the burn on the back of my legs.

Hot sun on metal playground slides. But was still fun - especially if you used a sheet of waxed paper under your butt to go faster!

MASH - oh, gosh!  I forgot about this fortune telling game...loved it back in the day  :)

MASH Game (the fortune-telling game of pre-teen girls in the & MASH stands for Mansion - Apartment - Shack - House. This was a daily thing!

For a very short time I remember having a Tetherball pole at my elementary school. I wasn't one to ever play but I would watch. I believe two or more people hit the ball on the string as hard and fast as you could and have it spin around the pole. And if you “accidently” hit someone with the ball — you got bonus points!!

I remember there being a tether ball on the playground of my elementary school. I was the champ, being tall and competitive. My kids have tether ball at their school, too. I'm still better than all the kids, LOL.

flipping through albums in a record store. THE record store Tower records when I was a kid, and then looking through all the CDs with my son when he was a teenager! I miss Tower Records!

The Wonder Years. This is my favorite show of all time. It captured all the things kids go through growing up in a funny and nostalgic way. The music is iconic and probably the reason this series isn't on DVD anywhere.
