A very rare hand-painted lover’s eye brooch depicting a woman’s eye with curling tendrils of hair on the left side. This miniature portrait is framed by yellow gold worked in repousse style, and finished with a narrow inner fluted frame. The brooch is English, circa 1820-1840.

Gold bracelet, circa 1840, the articulated shoulders of which are decoratively enamelled in black. The bracelet contains a beautifully executed watercolour miniature of a child with blue eyes in dawn clouds, under crystal and within a pearl surround, the whole symbolic of mourning.
