(1920's) This source is a picture of women flappers posing for the camera. Flappers were very, very popular in the 1920’s, especially across Canada. Many Canadian men looked and “hanged out” with flappers post WW1, as they did not want to return to the society’s rules and roles. These men carried a carefree type of spirit. Many young Canadian women became flappers in order to make “easy cash”.
