Kerosene lamp with clear glass blown molded font on a pressed glass baroque base in extremely attractive apple green color. This lamp was made by Boston Sandwich Glass Company, during 1865-1880. The apple green base has a wonderfully preserved original gilded decorative trimmings. the hand made, free blown shade has a masterfully done gas etchings with floral and winged griffin motif. The original lamp burner has a patent date of august 1867 and still works perfectly well with kerosene.
