1/72 scale Star Wars 'Millennium Falcon' - John Simmons, West Mersea, Colchester, Essex, England. John writes: “Here’s my 1/72 scale FineMolds Millennium Falcon. I tried to stay as faithful to the 32" studio model as I could, trying to replicate every stain, scratch, blast mark, etc. The model is lit by 17 LEDs, and the cockpit has fiberoptics — even C-3PO’s eyes!”

Hasbro “Star Wars Unleashed” series | Geoff “bronzed” 7"-tall (about 1/12 scale) figures from the Hasbro “Star Wars Unleashed” series by stripping their original paint, coating them with Krylon flat black, then dry-brushing with Triangle Crafts “blonde bronze metallic surfacer.” Teal pastels brushed into the recesses depicted oxidation. He built the display stand using basswood, spare model parts, “even clothespins,” he says.
