Edged, top and bottom with bobbin lace ornamented with red cotton dot.    This towel is medium: cotton, linen technique: cross stitch. Its dimensions are: Warp x Weft: 26 x 36 cm (10 1/4 x 14 3/16 in.).    This towel is from Switzerland and dated "1794".
