1966 .. Monte .. GRX 555 D would have led a 1 2 3 finish of minis , only for a posting put up by the French Just before the final stage saying dipping bulbs must be fitted , they didn't like none French cars dominating "their" rally , after 8 hrs. the 3 cars were disqualified because they had none dipping bulbs fitted , and not even awarded a finishers plaque , But fortune smiled on the Mini in 1967 , as it won making it 4(3 if your French) out of 4 !
