Replica 15th century breech-loading cannon I made out of PVC tubing, but of the same dimensions of an original Burgundian piece captured by the Swiss in 1476-77. It fires calcium carbide, which can produce a louder bang, smoke, and fire than a real Civil War cannon but far safer and cheaper to fire.
1850 12 lb Mountain Howitzer 42" wheels. Served on both sides during the war. This was a light weight cannon with limited range. Kind of a scatter gun if you will. This one is built original down to the large tapered brass wheel bearings and all fittings. Nuts and bolts are period sizes. Its a bunch of work and I know what work is.
