This reminds me of the summers I spent on Lake Superior with my grandparents. The water looked just like this.

My Mamaw use to take us up to Lake Michigan, I would wade in up to my knees, stepping on the rounded stones. The water was always so cold it took my breath away, and so vast it looked like an ocean.

I love driving on the highway at night, especially on long trips. I think I need to go on a long long road trip, with another friend who can drive me around so that I can just stare at the lights and the darkness.
