Church of the Gesù, mother church of Jesuits, Rome Pope Francis will celebrated Mass at the Church of the Gesu on July 31 (feast day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, founder). Visiting this church was incredible and a must see for anyone going to Rome.

La Scala Santa (The Holy Stairs) in Rome, Italy. The 28 marble steps are said to be those that Christ ascended in Pontius Pilate's palace during His trial. They were brought to Rome by St. Helena, Constantine's mother in 326 ad.
