The ochre colour of the apron dress is probably very realistc for the period, whilst blue was rather expensive, as it was achieved by using indigo, which came, via arab traders, all the way from India. Thus blue was usually the colour of the nobility. But then, that is most likely the case with this garb, as the awesome tortoise brooches, and silver beads, make her a highborn, or rich, lady!
