Interesting brick and stone Queen Anne on Old Aristocracy Hill in Springfield, IL. The stone itself is decorated. A unique, beautifully embellished "hanging" tower with hat! The only thing these "average" homes lacked were a grand porch and entrance.
In the midst of the forests of Normandy, France, the Chateau de Morsan. The chateau was built as a summerhouse, and at one point it served as a hunting lodge. The exterior facade of the house reflected a French Rococo architectural style.
