Distress Ink Watercolour background by scrapnextras - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Demo this week at LSS was to use distress inks on an acrylic block, spritze with water and then put onto the card stock. Next was to use a Silhouette type stamp to clear emboss to allow the wonderful background to show through. I chose Te Dye, Spiced Marmalade and Shabby Shutters on my block to make my background. I then clear embossed the Poppy background. I used Spiced Marmalade to colour the flowers with a bit of the green for the stems.

By Dawn Turley. Negative stamp ("Poppy Background" by Hero Arts) inked with Distress inks (tie dye, spiced marmalade, shabby shutters), stamped, then image heat embossed with clear powder. Flowers sponged with spiced marmalade stems with shabby shutters.
