While I was going to college, diligently studying English and Journalism and Philosophy, my mother was handling public relations for the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida. During my junior year, she mailed me a promotion for the Ringling's exhibit of Jerry Uelsmann's work, insisting that I see it on my next break. Once I saw Jerry's work, my vision was forever changed. And so was my career path... It's been 43 years... and Jerry Uelsmann''s images still haunt me.
