Borgund Stave Church (Lærdal, Norway) The best preserved of Norway’s 28 extant stave churches. This wooden church, probably built in the end of the century, has not changed structure or had a major reconstruction since the date it was built.
Beautiful Flåm is situated in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the 204 kilometres long and up to 1308 metres deep Sognefjord.
