Henri Matisse, Woman with Amphora and Pomegranates, 1953. National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. After Matisse was diagnosed with cancer he was in a wheelchair. During this time he found that he had a lot a creativity and started to "paint with scissors" by making his very colorful paper cut outs. I bought a print of this one from the NGA and it hangs in my home. I love the bright colors and simplicity.
