Wimbledon, by Andrew Power, 1933 -

This is one of two posters commissioned by London Transport in 1933 to promote the annual tennis tournament at Wimbledon. It was designed by Sybil Andrews whose preferred name was Andrew Power. Whilst studying at the New Grosvenor School of Modern Art in London, Andrews shared a studio with Cyril Power.
