Southern Porch - Wow!!! Savannah London

Large columns, sweeping front porches, and balconies are typical of the Southern plantation home's design. Not to mention the lovely blue ceilings!

The William Seabrook House, also known as the Seabrook, or the Dodge Plantation, built about 1810 on Edisto Island, South Carolina, southwest of Charleston. William Seabrook was a Sea Island cotton planter +part-owner of the Edisto Island Ferry. Tradition indicates that James Hoban, the architect of the White House, was the designer. Seabrook died c. 1837. His widow lived in the house until 1854 or 1855.

Beautiful house

Gives me a great idea for an entire first floor patio, except for one glass living room with stairs up to the house. Design it.
