Chart your child's favorite song or poem onto a large sheet of paper, add simple images for fun and you have a great exposure to print! When you sing or chant, point to the words so your child begins to associate what they hear with what they see.
FREE! This is a great follow up activity to planting seeds. Our class loves the Diary of a... series by Doreen Cronin so this was a perfect writing activity for us! Students will first brainstorm some ideas of what their seed or plant is thinking. Then students can write diary entries from the point of view of their seed or plant! There are two versions included: one with the word "seed" and another with "plant."
