USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class battleship built for and by the United States Navy in the mid-1910s. Named in honor of the 48th state's recent admission into the union, the ship was the second and last of the Pennsylvania class of super-dreadnoughts.

USS "West Virginia" (BB-48) (q.v.) in July 1944, following her post-Pearl Harbor rebuild. This is how she appeared at the Battle of Surigao Strait (last battleship engagement ever), at Iwo Jima, at Okinawa. As was fitting, she was present at the Japanese surrender, Tokyo Bay, 2 September 1945.

This is the Swedish warship Vasa, it sank in 1628 and was recovered from the ocean in 1961 almost completely intact.  This is the only remaining intact ship from the 1600's.  This ship is housed in The Vasa Museum in Stockholm Sweden.  A museum built around the ship.
